Missionary Council is currently devoting time to updating Widcombe’s vision for mission. One key component in our strategy is that we see the need to increase the focus of prayer for mission. To this end the elders have suggested that we set aside a time to pray for mission after the evening service on the last Sunday of each month. The aim is for us to pray for the ongoing specific needs of our missionaries as well as praying for the future of mission from Widcombe. Come and join us tonight after the service in Shunem.

Summer Outreach: there is a list and prayer guide with the places, times and people involved in many activities during the summer, on the table in the foyer. Please take one and use it as a prayer calendar over the next few weeks

Thanks: The group going out to Harghita Christian Camp in Romania have sent the money they raised from the cream tea to Harghita, and want to thank everyone for giving so generously.

2 by 2: the team would like to thank everybody for their prayers. During the recent seven assemblies they have taken over 1000 children and many staff have heard the Gospel. Praise God for this wonderful opportunity.
